Last night we juiced our breakfast for this morning and my lunch/Carl’s snack. For the breakfast juice celery did not make an appearance, I think I am a bit traumatized from the day before with celery after taste in the morning drink. Celery re-appeared in the afternoon juice.
Breakfast Juice #3
- 4 oranges
- 6 strawberries
- 1 kiwi
- 1 apple
- 2 carrots
- a couple shakes of ginger when you are done.
Finished product, I love the colors and it always smells delicious.
As I type this post, I wanted to make a MAJOR NOTE: Any berries, citrus fruit, leafy greens and peppers need to be juiced on a low setting if your machine allows it. Also, PEEL any citrus fruit prior to juicing, you can leave the white pith (just did a google search about pith- it is healthy for us contains fiber). When juicing firm or hard veggies or fruit (apples) need to be juiced on the high setting if your machine has a high setting.
Lunch Juice #4
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1 peeled lemon
- 2 apples
- 3 celery stalks
- 3 carrots
- a couple sprinkles of ginger when you are finished

The result of today’s juices- MUCH Better, great trial and error. I liked our breakfast drink, why? because there was no celery in it. Our lunch/snack juice was good and hit the spot. I liked it with the lemon, they say in the book to add a lemon or lime to help cut the veggie taste, if need be.
Another successful day of juicing and happy with the results.
