Juicing in a Towel… Yikes…

What a Wednesday night and a busy Thursday morning. I was home a little earlier last night because we had a professional dog trainer coming to meet with us and Arie. Arie is more than what we could have asked for in a dog and we know he has a lot of potential; HOWEVER, he has a few things that can be refined and worked on. Which really means Carl and I need to be taught the right way to re-direct and lead Arie. I contacted the guy I ran into a few weeks back at the farmer’s market and we set up an appointment for a Foundations session for Arie.

Arie

(I had to add a picture of my peanut, I know it’s the same picture as before. But he’s so cute)

The guy works through Bark Busters, a worldwide dog training franchise. He was at our house from 6:00pm until almost 10:30pm; we learned so much in that time and holy cow what a difference it made in Arie. We learned how to communicate and be strong leaders for Arie which in turn he will show more respect for us. I HIGHLY recommend the program, so worth it. We were given exercises to practice with Arie.

Anyway, by the time we were done and in the house from Wednesday night, we were all beat and didn’t have time to juice. So this morning, I got up and did my routine with Arie and then jumped in the shower. I threw my hair in a towel and wrapped the other one around me and ran down stairs to make a quick juice. Carl helped me peel the oranges and grapefruit. I was in a different office today and thought I should have a juice for sure today for lunch. After that I cleaned everything up, ran back upstairs and finished getting ready and then I was out the door by 6:45am. I did all that in 45 mins, I think that was a record; however, I wouldn’t recommend juicing in a towel, it was a little difficult. 🙂

I had a similar juice as Breakfast Juice #15 on thing I didn’t add was carrots. It was great for today and I stayed full.

Ingredients:

  • 1 peeled grapefruit
  • 2 peeled oranges
  • 6 strawberries
  • 2 handfuls of spinach

That I think is my go to juice and I would rate it high.

Rate: 8/10 for taste and visual of juice.
