Memorial Weekend Road Trip

This year for Memorial day, Carl and I decided to go on a road trip. We wanted to visit my sister, husband and nephew in Arkansas, but we figured if we were going to make the drive then we should stop somewhere on our way down. Our choice was Memphis, TN to experience Beale St. and for Carl to see the Gibson Guitar Factory. We left on Thursday morning at 4:45am and made it to Memphis, TN by 5:30pm I believe. We checked into our hotel and then we drove down to Beale St. to grab a bit to eat and hear the live music. It was a busy busy place with lots of people and lots of live music. The next day we went to the Gibson Guitar Factory and we took the tour. Carl was in heaven and really enjoyed the tour. After the tour we jumped back in the car and headed to Arkansas to see my sister.

Here are some pictures from our trip!

We had such a fun trip. My sister cooked us delicious food and we enjoyed all the company, laughter and all the smiles of our nephew. We left on Sunday and drove home the same day and it was a good trip. On our way home we stopped at a few antiques stores to find a few pieces for our wedding planning.

We are so thankful for the hospitality of my sister and her family! šŸ™‚ We also have a huge thank you to our friends for staying at our house to watch Arie and house sit. They said Arie did a good job.

Sorry, this was a long overdue post.
