Last Friday, my co-worker was heading up north to Duluth for a client meeting, he asked if I wanted to go with. I had lots of work to do but I am hardly ever in the office to interact with my co-workers, so I decided to go with. I love Duluth, for so many reasons-childhood memories, beautiful views and where we had our wedding; so I didn’t want to pass up an chance to go there. Unfortunately, our client did not show so we drove the 2hrs there and back all for not. But we took a quick 1/2 lunch and I showed my co-worker a few of my favorite spots! We stopped at Northern Waters Smokehaus– I highly recommend it for smoked salmon and trout. YUM! It was featured on Diners, Drive-in’s and Dives as well! I love the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge and the boardwalk, it was the type of work day that I needed. I felt re-focused again!
