On Friday May 10th was Carl’s Birthday and we were able to spend the afternoon together. It was a little chilly but lucky for us it was the first day in almost a week that the sun was shining. I had so many ideas for Carl’s birthday but could not make up my mind. I decided going with the most laid back and stressless idea for us.

On Friday afternoon, we went to a burger joint in the cities, The Nook. They are known for their delicious burgers, great buns and fries. I got a bleu cheese burger with the fries. Carl had the infamous Juicy Lucy and he said the buns were good.

After our lunch at The Nook, we went to Stillwater to walk around and enjoy the sites. It was a great day, the sun was shining and we enjoyed each other’s company.  It was not an over done day, it was completely our style of low key and stressless.

It is one of our favorite places to visit.
